Arab Monetary Fund, a regional organization based in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), with the objective of laying monetary foundations of Arab economic integration and accelerating the process of economic development in Arab Countries.
AMF is seeking Chief, Maintenance & Office Services Division, to Plan, lead, and manage the provision of effective maintenance and office services through the development, implementation of maintenance & office services management plans and mechanisms for AMF, in accord with the defined Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) & quality standards in order to ensure reliability, integrity and uninterrupted operations.
AMF is seeking Chief, Maintenance & Office Services Division, to Plan, lead, and manage the provision of effective maintenance and office services through the development, implementation of maintenance & office services management plans and mechanisms for AMF, in accord with the defined Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) & quality standards in order to ensure reliability, integrity and uninterrupted operations.
• Direct and oversee the maintenance of AMF facilities in line with approved budgets and set AMF’s standards.
• Conduct periodic inspections to ensure that the entire premises are maintained up to AMF HSE standards.
• Examine performance and maintenance problems for a variety of equipment and ensure that technical maintenance assistance is provided for the solution of such problems. (Includes evaluating the economics of alternative methods and/or equipment and recommending repair or replacement as necessary.)
• Manage and control policy, standards, and procedures governing all aspects of space planning, maintenance management and facility management to respond in a timely manner.
• Provide general guidance over maintenance activities, assesses status of work, estimated costs and completion dates, review work schedules both for routine maintenance jobs to ensure that such work is carried out with maximum efficiency and that down time for equipment is kept to a minimum.
• Ensure that maintenance work conforms to Fund’s standards, both from an operational view and the safety and fire risk aspect while developing standards and procedures to ensure that such work is satisfactorily performed.
• Ensure the provision of a timely response to all relevant emergencies/ breakdowns and prompt corrective action is taken to ensure service availability/minimize downtime.
• Respond to all emergency call outs on 24/7 basis.
Skills
Minimum Requirements Criteria:
• Arab national, age no more than 50 years.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 15-20 years of experience, at least 5 years in a similar job..
• Expert knowledge of maintenance philosophy, theory and techniques.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
• Knowledge of PC and Microsoft office applications
• Good verbal and written Communication skills
• High problem solving ability.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
• High time management skills
• Good communication & reporting skills
