Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager
Job Description
Overall Purpose
•Control all quality deliverables with respect to Engineering, field works, cabinet assembly, integration, inbound inspection materials and vendor inspections.
•Assure compliance to ISO Quality standards and Project contract quality requirements.
•Set-up a quality management process & system ensuring contract compliance for quality assurance and controls.
•Act as single point of contact and project advisor for matters relating to Quality management.
Principal Job Responsibilities
Design Quality
•Implement a regime of design verification and assurance in accordance with contract feed documents and specifications
•In conjunction with Lead Engineer/ Head of Engineering, review and record any risks and conformance deviations
•In collaboration with Corporate Quality Officer, perform audits on QMS procedures to ensure compliance relating to assigned projects.
Project Quality Compliance
•Responsible for ensuring that activities undertaken are in accordance with ISO standards;
•Liaise with the external assessment bodies and vendors as required on all matters related to any external accreditation and compliance process.
•Responsible for the implementation and control and overall administration of non-compliances related to the project with responsibility for the maintenance of the NCR
•Undertake periodic reviews of the status of non-compliances and evaluate the effectiveness of any corrective measures and preventative actions;
•Notify respective process owners to follow up on the closure of NCR’s in a timely manner and report accordingly;
•Oversee and coordinate QA/QC Engineers and QC inspectors both internal and external;
•Develop and maintain a Quality Audit schedule and programme for projects.
•Ensure that a document control procedure is adopted to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of the project.
•Ensure that the performance of the Project Quality Management Plan is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. This review means assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for changes to the PMQP
•Ensure that Quality Objectives are set by the management team for measuring the performance of the project quality systems and that these are regularly reviewed.
•Ensure that all new project staff are inducted into the requirements of the PMQP related to their own roles and responsibilities. Provide update and training as necessary.
•Ensure that all suppliers used by the project are evaluated and that records of their assessment are maintained.
Site Quality management
•Oversee the control and administration of site compliance with the PMQP and contract requirements
•Investigate cause of non-conformities and implement corrective actions;
•Undertake site audits to ensure compliance and project quality is maintained

Skills
ISO Certifications, Proficient in Quality Assurance and Control, Effective Communications Skills & Proficient in MS office
